What is Micro Blading brow enhancement?

Micro BladingMicro Blading is the term for a relatively new procedure that has gained popularity in the recent years. Micro Blading is a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo and is also known as permanent brow make up, feathering, 3D brow enhancement, and others.

More than a treatment, Micro Blading is truly an art.

Our Micro Blading specialist is the very talented brow guru Angelica Annetts. Angelica is passionate about brows and takes extreme care when shaping, tinting and advising you how to keep them looking perfect she is indeed a true artist and her work can be found on Instagram # Somalogiclaserclinic.

How is micro blading done?

Before anything permanent is done Angelica shapes tints and draws in what needs to be done for you to have a perfect brow, only once she photographs it to show you how it will look and you agree, the work begins. Gentle, featherlike strokes with a small cutting blade are applied to each brow to deliver tattoo ink into the epidermis. Should to much pressure be applied and the ink is deposited into the dermis one gets pigment bleed and that look smudged and painted on – not the crisp look we want! the whisps give the appearance of hair. Prior to beginning, however, a topical anaesthetic is applied to the area. The treatment is comfortable and takes about one hour thirty minutes.

What are the benefits of Micro Blading?

Wake up every day to perfect brows. This treatment is perfect for women who are wanting fuller brows or for those who have experienced hair loss. Remember though if you have light hair you will still need to tint the brows from time to time to revive the look.

How long does Micro Blading last?

Results vary but typically 1-3 years can be expected. A touch-up is often recommended after a period of 6 weeks.
